Francisco Choi, AIA, Tamiro Ventures, LTD : Firm Profile
Architect and Developer, Francisco Choi is the founder of FTC Architects, PC, a full-service architecture firm, and Tamiro Ventures, Ltd., a commercial real estate development company. Mr. Choi formerly worked with I. M. Pei, Kohn Pederson Fox and in association with Cesar Pelli Architects and Michael Graves Architects. Since 1996, Francisco Choi has provided Central Texas with full architecture, project management, construction administration, feasibility design, and construction management services. His clients and projects span the globe from Texas renovations to 60-story corporate headquarters. He is experienced in all phases of design and management phases of design and development of multi-use retail/offices, hotels, libraries, educational/research/medical facilities, numerous residential types, and major renovations and restoration projects of retail, warehouses, and restaurants.
Lately, the firm has immersed itself with new emphasis on quality buildings especially in the field of healthcare, senior housing and supporting health care services. Recently, the firm has designed and performed feasibility studies for multiple healthcare facilities including a hospital, physical therapy, long term care facilities, assisted living facilities and numerous physicians’ offices and clinics.
FTC Architects since establishing office in Central Texas in 2000 has been commissioned to do several projects of its unique style and scale; one being contemporary Mediterranean style 24,000 sf custom design home built in 2004 and a recent 250,000 sf, a multi-mixed office retail shopping center complex in Austin. Tamiro Ventures, Ltd., a development firm, is a wholly-owned real estate development company that performs full-service-integrated architect-as-developer services for Mr. Choi’s investments and on behalf of others.
